Jackalopes are mythical creatures that look like rabbits with a big set of antlers. They originated as a myth in America but I've seen a lot of them in my garden, especially over the past month or so. Must be Spring fever, there are lots of little jackabunnies hopping around.
These little art dolls have resin parts cast from my original wax sculpture. They have been painted with acrylics and can withstand knocks and drops. He is filled with weighting so he sits nicely on your desk or shelf.
This tiny jackabunny has been lovingly hand crafted from start to finish in my studio in the Highlands of Scotland. I have designed, sculpted, cast, painted, sewn, assembled and photographed these little guys entirely by myself. They measure approximately 6cm tall, that's about 2.5", and weigh around 35g.
